One size does not fit all. 

While those criminally accused share some common characteristics, the impact on their life varies wildly.  Not everyone follows the same path to get to this point.  As such, I try to identify all the issues that may have led a client to being charged with a crime. 

Some of these issues may be mental health, addiction, etc.  Some clients may have collateral issues apart from any criminal charge.  Once identified, I try to make referrals, as appropriate, for services.  

The purpose is to address a client’s needs and help them succeed, despite the fact that they have been charged with a crime.  By addressing these needs, I try to ensure the best and most complete outcome for my clients.

I fight hard for those criminally accused regardless of guilt or innocence and I provide service to my clients without judgment. The criminal justice system only works if I keep the prosecution honest and ensure that the court’s rulings are appropriate. If the court’s rulings are not appropriate, then I fight on in the appeal.
